I am no longer on Facebook. It used to be a nice place until the billionaires messed it up so they can generate more money for the rich, while people are starving to death on this planet. Thank you, rich people!

Here's a little about me to make sure you found the right one: I went to Patronage of St. Joseph until they closed forever. I finished at Nativity Diocesan High School (both of Detroit, MI) and graduated in 1969. Both schools are now closed. NDHS was under Nativity of Our Lord Catholic church in Detroit, which still exists.

I'm sorry if you missed the 2024 eclipse of the sun. I got to see its totality from Wapakoneta, OH on 240408 (08 Apr 2024). What a moving experience. I saw the total eclipse on 170821 (21 Aug 2017) from Portland (Nashville),TN and I also saw most of the total eclipse from Camp LeJeune, NC on 700307 (07 Mar 1970). That's three!!! I'm gonna try to make it to my fourth total eclipse on 440823 (23 Aug 2044). I'll have to drive I-94 to the area of Sydney, Montana. I've got 20 years to pinpoint and plan. Care to go with me? I'll be in my 90s. So what!

I'll miss the next one in 2099 because I'm sure I'll be dead by then.

As I grew into adulthood, we had the military draft. I joined the University of Science, Mathematics and Crayons (1969-1972) and graduated as a PFC. After two years and while deployed overseas to the Mediterranean with the US Navy, I received my military draft notice. Even as a Corporal of Marines, I found you don't ignore the US government, no matter how wrong they are. We had a helluva draft party; all military personnel on a military owned U.S. Naval ship. Strange, but fun! No one wanted to dodge this draft... party.

Real life resume: Starting work at age 8, I was a potholder maker and sales boy for same. I was also a wall washer, grass cutter, snow shoveler, Detroit News paperboy, Detroit Free Press paperboy, Detroit Free Press jumper, US Marine Corporal trained in combat, nuclear, chemical and biological warfare. I was also a pole climbing lineman while in, but not while at sea. I bottled pop and delivered it. I collected donation checks for Christmas. I did some law enfocement work as a tactical officer in Detroit before becoming a university department head and finally retiring. I am now waiting for my next step my next step in life; maybe a girlfriend, fun and then DEATH!

I've always appreciated Futrama's, Bender Bending Rodriguez, listening to God who was quoted; "When you do things right, people won't be sure you've done anything at all."
